shadowfire27 0 Posted August 6, 2015 I'm planning on buying this game, but does anyone know when a sale will come? I usually don't ask these questions but I really want to play the life mod. That and I don't think the game is worth a high 60$ anymore. Even games like Gta are getting price cuts that were released around this time. Even the Xbox one versions are dropping in price, and those games are probably more well known and popular than this. (Personally I think steam robs you in ways since most games never drop from original listing price besides sales.) Please don't get defensive. If you have any information on sales I would love to hear them :D It's gone on sale multiple times on both the BI Store and on Steam, though the post-DayZ high visibility of the Arma name has presumably helped secure Arma 3 a recurring place in major Steam sale promotions such as both the Holiday 2014 and Summer 2015 sales. While it's probably a lock for a Holiday Sale 2015 presence, I cannot forecast any promotional discounts before that. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
BadHabitz 235 Posted August 6, 2015 They're not going to tell us about future sales. As far as guessing goes, you never know when a random sale is going to happen. I think it's all but certain that you'll see a sale for the 2015 holidays, and probably again when the expansion hits in 2016. The best thing to do is make sure you put the game in your Steam Wish List and make sure it's set up to send you an email when an item from your list is on sale or reduces in price. Ranwer135 308 Posted August 6, 2015 You will love ArmA when you get it, its like holding the universe in your hand. ;) Multiplayer isn't just the 80% part that's fun, modding is that 80%. :P You can like make your own custom models and animations for arma, not to mention the majority of script codes found on the community.
