Changing your save point

Hi;

Once you use your one save in a mission, is there anyway to start over so you can use the save elsewhere? For example, you begin playing a mission and at some point you save the game. As you continue, you realize you saved too early and would like to have that save back even if you have to start the entire mission all over.

Is there a way to do this? I tried exiting the game, coming back in to the campaign and instead of hitting continue I select the mission from the campaign folder. It still remembers my save point.

If you installed with the defaults go to this directory

C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Users\YourUserName\Saved\campaigns\1985

where YourUserName is, well, your user name.

In that folder you will see a Save file. If you delete that you can then save again. Also, I believe there might be some command line you can type in to resave but I don't recall what that is. Hope this helps.

If you're going to cheat then you might as well do it the easier way: Press and hold left "Shift" plus press the keypad "-", then type savegame. Although I think this may be somewhat against the forum rules

Nah, it's a built-in cheat and I think the mods won't mind. Spreading info about external cheat proggies probably is a bit of an offence, especially multiplayer cheats.

I simply copy my entire Saved folder. It's located in Operation Flashpoint/Users/[insert your name here].
