colonelmolerat 1 Posted July 7, 2015 I assumed this command caused units ahead of you to stop, then start moving again when you caught up... It doesn't seem to do that - it seems no different to the 'stop' command. Does anybody know what the difference is? There are a few very old posts about this, but none seem to answer the question (or they answer it incorrectly).
Joe98 91 Posted July 8, 2015 Sometimes you need to hold the hand of your AI team mates. When I catch up I always "~ 1-1" which means: select all - return to formation.
colonelmolerat 1 Posted July 9, 2015 But is there a difference between using 'Wait for Me', and 'Stop'? That's what I'm trying to work out.
IndeedPete 1038 Posted July 9, 2015 Just a wild guess here, but maybe "Wait for Me" supresses these annoying "where are you" / "report position" messages AI is spamming constantly when you are too far ahead?
colonelmolerat 1 Posted July 9, 2015 I've noticed people suggesting that. Is that all it does though? Seems a touch pointless! Edit: After an hour of 'Where are you?!?' and 'Report position!!!' being shouted at me, I may change my mind...
