eatmyshorts 0 Posted October 10, 2002 Is there any way to have units side with the opposite faction using the init field or triggers? In the anim for the new 1.75 island there is a civilian standing with his arms crossed over his chest. Does anyone have the command for that effect? Also, does anyone know about any good motorcycle addons for 1.75 Thanks!

Or, if you need to do it ingame, you could use a little script which creates (createUnit) a unit opposite to your faction and groups you so that he is your new leader. Now you have changed your side to the leader's faction. Then you can just destroy (destroyVehicle) the unit and you will keep the side of the destroyed unit. bn880 5 Posted October 10, 2002 Yeah, if I remember correctly, in TWMN, I created a boat with men from 4 different sides inside (called them sideWest, sideEast, sideGuer, sideCivil). When I needed to change a units' side I made then join the specific side unit ie: [myGuy] join sideWest. Then I made the unit join himself. Oh, and I moved the boat waaay of the map. It's a funny solution but it works perfectly.
RED 0 Posted October 10, 2002 Yes I used that method a while a good in a mission I never got round to finishing, just make sure you don't have any radio commands coming up on the screen (1 follow 2 for example) RED
