Sweeper 0 Posted October 10, 2002 My Flashpoint renders almost unplayable Look here in my sucky host Theese is proof of my problems. Some of theese has happened in the same game. Can I fix this or must I uninstall OPF? I have a RIVA TNT that renders me unable to go higher on versions also lower. I'm planning a power pack for christmas but if I can't play OPF it is a waste of disk space and I must delete it and install it on my new PC to try it. Was this Normal in V 1.20? The spikes should also have a looking at. Images are some above 100kb and I don't have a host that allows hotlinking. This is a major problem it has accured in other games as well. In Counter-strike I see enemies due to one of thoose spikes that pop out... In OPF even the roads jump up and down. If I sat in a tank during the mission I would win since both the enemy infantery dies of the jumping. Please can I fix this? I need to have more than a 5 minute OPF each day which is how the situation is now. And it worsenss, soon the intro's will be done the same way and I can't see a thing due to spikes. shadow 6 Posted October 10, 2002 Sounds like a driver-issue with your video-card or maybe your video-card is defective. I've never had a TNT-card so I would'nt know how they behave in OFP

I tried updated drivers but all the driver ate up my RAM so games only worked for 10 mins... Haven't tried it with OPF maybe I should? I will see if I can find them but if I don't I'm chanceless. Detonators don't work for me either only on GeForce 4 MX I used. Hopefully when the christmas comes my new rig will dump theese probs and I can play like usual. But thats a hell of a long time without OPF

Mister Frag 0 Posted October 10, 2002 If you don't have recent Detonators, I'm not surprised that you had problems with the GeForce4 MX440 -- the old drivers you have simply don't support it. As far as your pictures are concerned, I can't tell what's wrong with them because they are kind of small. What problems are encountering? What color depth are you using, and are you using the W-Buffer?

I still use my TNT. full specs are: Motherboard: AX59 Pro socket 7 supports 500 mhz 3 SDRAM slots. memory: 192mb's 3 64mb modules. Graphics: Graphics blaster RIVA TNT HD: 1X 4Gb drive 1X 2gb drive CD-ROM's: 1X Creative 32X (Hates OPF disc) 1X Old 16X drive CPU: AMD K-6 2 clocked at 350 MHZ Soundcard: Yamaha OPL-3 SA ISA sound. ALT+TAB clears the problems for another 5 minutes. But always having to that is hard... Some missions i ned 1 hour on and thoose become long lasted. However I will use thoose 5 minutes to whatever Flashpoint I can play. My ingame settings are at it's lowest to give me FPS. The card is not overclocked at all. W-buffer what is that? I have not tweaked the card and I do not use detonators anymore since they ate up all my memory.

Get a faster machine or you won't be able to run OFPR, and even for OFP CWC your machine is way too weak, no matter what graphics card you put in. OFPR is a game that needs a strong CPU. It runs smothly and perfectly for me.
