No recoil with automatic weapons?

I've noticed in IFA3 that there is literally no recoil for automatic weapons, I'm talking no recoil animation whatsoever, is this intended? Also the sounds are underwhelming, the smoke grenades are broken, and the reload animations still suck.

This kind of content has so much potential but has yet to be fulfilled.
