I don't get it. Why people are making new FALs if Res already have one ? Nobody will use it in the mission because you already have a FAL.

It is. From some angles on the BIS model, the foresight doesn't appear.

It just plain looks wrong.

I don't know about the front site disappearing as I never really noticed that, but personally I think the BIS FN-FAL is fine aside for the sound. Also it could be a little more powerful as normally one hit from a .308 caliber round and you're usually dead.

But I don't think I'd be downloading another FN-FAL. Furthermore on that new model I don't see a carrying handle on it. Without the carrying handle it looks more like a G3 or something.

Well I never expected to catch flak over this thing. This is something Ive had in the works a good long time.  

Its kind of unfair to think of it as JUST ANOTHER FAL. Yeah resistance has one. But why have that attitude? OFP allready has an m16, so why do people need m4's or c7's? Common people.

I model what I want. Hopefully though there are some that apreciate the fact that I make this stuff available.

If you dont like it then dont DL it.

And yeah it doesnt have a carrying handle. But thats just a minor detail. I opted to use the saved pollys somewhere else thats all. I do fail to see where it looks like g3 though.

And yes Sweeper I did skin this model from my own fal.

Right as I said, I wasn't going to d/l it. Also the carrying handle is not a minor detail. I haven't seen very many FN-FAL's without that carrying handle. But like you said, you are entitled to model what you like, and aside from the carrying handle, the model looks fine. But for missions that for example simulate battles from the Angolan Civil War, it's a heck of a lot easier just using the BIS model then trying to get people to d/l another FN rifle addon for it just to play the mission. Anyhoo... I hope people enjoy your addon.
