Admin password not working post Marksmen patch

This is just an FYI for an issue I had and have found a workaround for. I figured it was worth sharing and a quick search of this forum found nothing similar.

To put it simply it appears that the admin password on servers post 1.42 can have issues passwords longer than 5 characters. The admin login just outright fails until you make it 5 or less. I can only confirm 4 people who were also affected so far though so maybe its only isolated or a rare issue.

So the obvious workaround is to have only a 5 character admin password which is hopefully rectified quickly.

Thanks for sharing this. I, next to the other in the feedback forum, are also able to reproduce this.

I btw also noted the (Linux) server console shows my LAN ip instead of my WAN ip.

Server is in a DC nowhere near me and has 1 Nic.
