Just enough to make tham legal.

The big Foot and Mouth Problem was is the UK, don't think it really effecte the rest of Europe (Feel free to correct me guys, I'm probibly wrong about that.) and the meat is safe to eat now. British beef is going on sale again in Europe now, but they are labeling it as Welsh/Scotish/Irish/English, staying clear of the word British to try and avoid bad PR from the outbreak. So I wouldn't worry.

Besides, I thought McDonalds got their beef from their own cattle farms in Brazil?

If you eat meat that has been infected by foot and mouth you will get..............NOTHING! Foot and mouth can not be contracted by humans, it is not harmful at all to us.

Although I wouldn't eat it, as apparently the meat is black-ish and smells and tastes funny (so ive heard!!wink.gif.

As for mad cow disease, england is in top 3 together with germany and france.

Why did they want to get rid of F&M so bad? I understand the high contagious level but if the disease doesn't effect the lamb chops on the dinner plate, why bother?

European Mc Donalds buy local. They dont use meat from abroad but use local agricultural products from the surroundings. Why I know ? Lot of farmers here have contracts with Mc Donalds for meat and potatoe delivery.

So if you life in GB watch your claw wink.gif

We in germany may have a little risk of getting braindamaged, but GB is also No 1 here wink.gif . By the way france was also affected by Foot and mouth disease if I remember right.

I do believe you can. At first they thought you couldnt, but some humans then contracted it, I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I remember this.

hmm if you like to have a farm full of contaminated animals it's ok for you. but i think most farmers wouldn't like that! tounge.gif

Since its pretty crap as a farmer and your whole lot of animals suddenly die.
