have you checked the A3 car sample (in your tools folder) yet? it shows a working example and you should be able to reverse engineer how everything works (it also has documentation for the config related stuff).

To insert a new point in the memory LOD in OB, press insert on your keyboard, then move the point to the correct position you want it to be. You also need to create named selections for the points. Alternatively you can also copy&paste memorypoints out of another p3d (the sample car for example).

Yes thanks to everyone who helped me with this problem i was having i found out how it works
