Helicopters exploding

Does anyone know how to keep helicopters from exploding when falling on their sides? this doesnt happen to other vehicles like cars.

Is there a trick in the config or p3d file?

Due to how the ARMA engine is set at this time, I believe they are designed to explode if tipped over.

I'm not aware of any workaround for it.

You can eventually add an handleDamage eventhandler and set damage to a lower value than 1 if velocity < a certain value and if projectile is an empty string

Not sure it's going to work
