The manned section of the Space Program mode will be story driven where a catastrophic failure scenario leaves you stranded on Mars. You will be alone, surviving.

However, there will be scenarios in the Scenarios section that will be on various locations, including the Moon, Deimos, Asteroid Belt, even Earth Orbit.
