dreadedentity 278 Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) Hello, I am trying to create a listbox in a dialog that does not have a border, it would essentially be just a list floating on your screen. Does anyone know how I can do this? Cheers, Dread Solved with the help of zapat: style = 16; //0x10 Style 16 is also known as ST_MULTI, if you use the gigantic list of #define's to help you with your dialogs Edited February 11, 2015 by DreadedEntity
fight9 14 Posted February 9, 2015 Can you not set the alpha to 0 on the border color class control config entry?
dreadedentity 278 Posted February 9, 2015 Can you not set the alpha to 0 on the border color class control config entry? Hello Fight, I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, can you provide an example?
fight9 14 Posted February 10, 2015 I may have been mistaken. I had this colorBorder[] = {0,0,0,1}; under my RscListBox but I'm not sure if it is doing anything.
zapat 56 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) That's interesting. I never get borders with ListBox/ListNBox. Can you show us a screenshot? //i.imgur.com/XhgmhCe.png (275 kB) Anyways, here is all that can be changed: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/DialogControls-ListBoxeshttp: Edited February 10, 2015 by zapat
dreadedentity 278 Posted February 10, 2015 Certainly zapat: and here is my basic listbox class definition: class RscListbox { access = 0; idc = -1; type = CT_LISTBOX; style = NO_BORDER; //I have a #define created, but it obviously doesn't work very well sizeEx = 0.03000 font = FT_EMONO; rowHeight = 0.03; borderColor[] = {0,0,0,0}; maxHistoryDelay = 10; autoScrollSpeed = -1; autoScrollDelay = 5; autoScrollRewind = 0; canDrag = 0; disableFiltering = 0; colorText[] = {1,1,1,1}; colorBackground[] = {0,0,0,0.0}; colorDisabled[] = {1,1,1,1}; colorSelect[] = {0,0,0,0.5}; soundSelect[] = {"",0,0,0}; class ListScrollBar { color[] = {1, 1, 1, 0.6}; colorDisabled[] = {}; colorActive[] = {1, 1, 1, 1}; thumb = "\A3\ui_f\data\gui\cfg\scrollbar\thumb_ca.paa"; arrowFull = "\A3\ui_f\data\gui\cfg\scrollbar\arrowFull_ca.paa"; arrowEmpty = "\A3\ui_f\data\gui\cfg\scrollbar\arrowEmpty_ca.paa"; border = "\A3\ui_f\data\gui\cfg\scrollbar\border_ca.paa"; }; }; I am working on an updated version of ACS. Better back-end, cleaner front-end UI.

fight9 14 Posted February 10, 2015 There is no way to change the border color when using a different style - 5 for example?
dreadedentity 278 Posted February 11, 2015 Fight try using borderColor
fight9 14 Posted February 11, 2015 Fight try using borderColor No dice, unfortunately. I don't think I will be able too. That wiki page about it posted above only speaks about borders in regards to the horizontal listboxes (CT_XLISTBOX). I will either have to use the light gray color, have no border, or create a separate control behind it that allows me to change its color.
zapat 56 Posted February 11, 2015 Create a frame class behind it. This will give you the most control over it.
