Ruskiesrule 0 Posted September 29, 2002 Ok, heres the missions i have completed, or they just need a few minor adjustments. Beachlanding Pritty nice, needs some adjustments to make the Machine gunner shoot the people earlyer, they seem to have to get a little further up the beach before he opens fire! Air Drop Two 12 man Para squads get dropped off on the north East side of the middle island and do an assault on the Russian desert base. Offensive Paras use APCs to attack the destroyed city to the west. Counter offensive American M1A1 tanks on their way to the city and hear a radio message that tells them that the city is under attack from russian armor. (This mission isn't totaly tested! Any more ideas? Anybody willing to help me script them or make breifings for them? I'm gunna make one where some Americans on PT are ambushed by a machine gunner and blown away! Frugo_PL 0 Posted September 29, 2002 In my opinion you should PLAN the campain before making it. What's the story? Are these all of the ideas you have? Will the missions be good? Will people want to play this? You have to ask yourself these questions. As one guy in PC Gamer said: "If you have passion for a game, then it's guaranteed that you will finish and polish it completly" (quote from my memory). Now, if you don't plan anything at all and you are not excited about this, then you will not finish your campain . I waasted too many missions for other games... Its such a strange island, i've been trying to look at it from a tacticle veiw to see where a General would deploy troops and tanks and aircraft and its taking a little time, Their is a hole in the campaign, which is an animated (caption thingy, i dunno what you call it, a movie film thingy mission) when the Russians pull out from the southern island. I tried making a mission when your reconning ahead and tryed to play it as a player and i tend to just get in the way of the AI Russians. I'm not to good with scripting. I'd just like sombody to give me some physicle help, by taking the mission and showing me some stuff and a little input! I'll try and release a demo! Another problem i've been having is objectives, i don't know how to create objectives or make them complete (objective: complete). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
