Fisheye effect on my monitor

Recommended Posts

When i play Arma 3 i have issues with the side of my screen, even though the aspect ratio is set properly to support my 3 monitors it seems that the field of view does not really work to well.

As you can see here http://cpdv.home.xs4all.nl/2014-11-08_00003.jpg the sides of the screen are completely messed up.

Unlike you see here http://cpdv.home.xs4all.nl/dcs%202014-12-07%2020-19-33-36.jpg where the sides are shown in a proper way and here http://cpdv.home.xs4all.nl/eu4%202014-11-16%2011-27-21-77.jpg.

Changing the field of view to for example 60 or 150 does not work, since it only seems to effect the field of view on the middle monitor and not the side.

A game like Euro Truck simulator 2 by default also has this issue however that has a file where you can edit the field of view on the sides.

---

This also happens in the current dev. build of Arma 3.

Some help with this issue would be appreciated, it has been 5 days now and not a single reply from someone at Bohemia.

Dont expect them to answer you. They ignore most of us anyway.

I myself have a eyefinity setup and this issue has been since arma2.

Objects on my side monitors looks stretched and larger than what they really are.

As you can see here in a old video i did back with OA.

video might be blocked in some contrys cos i used some music i was not allowed to :\

One of the reasons I swapped my 3 x 24" 1920 x 1080 for my single 34" 3440x1440 monitor.

All you can realy do is select the triple head aspect ratio and adjust the FOV a bit. But as you tried, it doesnt make it much better.

Sorry.
