Tresser 0 Posted September 24, 2002 Sorry guys, I'm new... I searched, I couldn't find it. My brother-in-law and I just recently bought ColdWar Crisis in a cheap games bin and have totally got hooked. For the last week, we've been trying to perform an assault on the multiplayer map "Hostage Rescue (2-5 C)" on the island of Everon. We've managed to kill everyone and everything that comes our way in town - BUT - we don't know what to do with the captives. We can't make them run away, we can't make them get into a jeep/ural/UAZ/BMP/tractor .... or anything. How do we go about saving these three ignorant captives? All help would be appreciated. LT.Schaffer 0 Posted September 24, 2002 Hi Tresser, Well if your playing with the base version that came with the game you will need to upgrade to v1.30 then to v1.46 and after that if you wanna keep upgrading you will have to buy Operation Flashpoint:Resistance Expansion which Uprgades you to v1.75. because after you upgrade the mission you are playing gets changed so that after that the hostages will join your squad after you free them.... hope this helps if not just e-mail me at:snakeeyes0684@netscape.net and i'll send you the upgrades. The mission is not done yet-you must attack a small outpost to the east at a farmhouse and kill all there if memory serves me correctly? There is like a T72 and a squad there. Placebo 29 Posted September 24, 2002 Actually you posted in the correct place last time, the mission is an official Opf one so the thread really belongs in Opf Missions.
