How to guide AGM 86?

So i installed GNATS B52 Mod and made it to add the AGM 86 into an empty B52.

Now my Question is: How do i guid the Cruise Missle? Does it follow the Crosshair from the Gunnber Seat in the Bomber or Lasermarker? What do i have to do to hit the Target?

depends if he made it a GPS/INS guided weapon (likely)

if so, when you enter the plane select action menu GPS/INS and set the target in the dialog box and click mark, then exit.

the missile will then lock to the target you made

So i took the AGM 86 Launcher and added it (with Ammo) to the B52 but the B52 itself has no GPS/INS System as i have seen so i dont know :/

BTW: eggbeast I´m a huge fan off your work at BAFX and Rangemaster, although i was wondering what function this is in the folowing picture:

well you can try adding the new FRL_AGM86 we included in last rangemaster release, which has GPS/INS targeting capability, then in the plane init line add

to add the weapons and action to the plane init use this:

this addmagazine "EB_AGM86Cx6";this addweapon "EB_AGM86C_Launcher"; addgps = this addAction ["GPS/INS Menu", "createDialog 'glt_airgpsmfd'",[],0, false, true,""];

or something like that - i haven't tried to add the system to non configged planes before, but you can also add it to your spotter or pilot class in mission with

init on player

the GPS system is configured in EB_missilebox, using mykes scripts and system, and his weapon models in FRL_missilebox, both included in rangemaster.

the pic you linked is a su34 firing a kab1500L at a laser target they themselves designated from the gunner seat using the optics key. the camera HUD info was experimental (using the UAV layout) and has since been reverted to a more sensible one (AH64), using the ka52 optic model.

we will document it all in due course, the readme folder has a lot of classname content that may be enlightening, sorry its such a mess though hehe

the eb_missilebox, eb_armour and eb_weapons config.cpp files have the full list of weapons and mags inside them

so if you find a weapon in the lits i linked then ctrl-F that weapon in the config in notepad and you'll be able to grab the mags

Im familiar with the GPS System only the B52 has none.

Last Question: Do you know a good Script or something like an AI Pilot who doesnt do shit and fly´s where and how i want? Any Suggestions?

It´s just my Friend hasnt got time all Day so i can test the things Singleplayer

lol that would be a first

when i was testing the su34 in editor, what was funny was when i enabled my laser designator as gunner and locked it with my missile, the pilot was told "target that laser target" and so he always flies towards it, and you can steer him around the map like a donkey with a carrot on a stick... that's the best i can do lol.

i could have sworn i saw a youtube vid of gnats B52 firing a tomahawk in takistan, targeting a GPS/INS target... so had assumed it was enabled.

well if he let's me have it for the rangemaster pack, i'll happily add the different loadouts and functions to it. i'll pm him sometime.

we are developing nuke and chem and other wmd effects at the moment for pooks new scud, and the plan is to add them to the various relevant strategic missiles

the bear is first in line for the warheads

if you ever wnat to play with this stuff live, hop in our ts and server... we can probably answer a lot of questions at the same time.

well you either tap right click, or use numpad Enter or * or something. I have it on O so not sure of default.

no complete tutorial yet, but we do help a lot of folks who dare to set foot in our server/TS.
