Jimieus 1 Posted August 11, 2014 Hey all - looking for some answers and hoping someone can help. Ever since I installed the steam version of Arma2/OA I have been getting this annoying crash (never got it with boxed verison) - usually happening when I go into the scoped view - the game hangs for a second then the screen goes black, with the game running in the background. I can still hear the game and control the avatar - just cant see anything. In some cases I can screen flush to get it back (reduced performance) in other cases it causes a hard lock and I either have to crtl-alt-del end process or sometimes even reset. I suspect this is a driver stopped responding issue, however I am not currently experiencing this in other games. I have seen older threads describing this problem and am wondering: was a fix ever discovered? are people still dealing with this? PS - if there is anything required to help let me know! (I figure this may be an old problem with some known fixes - couldn't immediately find them in search so posted this thread) Any help greatly appreciated.
