Goro 21 Posted July 24, 2014 Hey, just asking if it is possible to hold gun like this: http://i58.tinypic.com/vdg1lg.jpg (290 kB) Or http://i59.tinypic.com/2sacmk1.jpg (256 kB) I've done this by sprinting and giving them "STOP" command. Can you hold weapon like this in First Person Mod? Please, extact explanation to new-modelling guy. P.S - If it is necessary, I can fake the third person view. Goro 21 Posted July 25, 2014 Well, I think you didn't get me, mate. I mean: Can you run and see weapon at the same time? Like the screen shows? In FIRST PERSON Like you'd play Battlefield 3 or any other FPS game, while sprinting or running, you can see your weapon on screen. Is it possible for arma? The only way to do this would be to mod the FOV (Field of View)
654wak654 25 Posted October 7, 2014 Maybe you could just switch to combat stance by pressing C (for A3 control scheme) or Y (for A2 control scheme)? I know it reduces speed but ArmA is not Battlefield or any other FPS game. So you will somewhat get that "weapon always pointed at the enemy while walking" thing, but it won't be like that while sprinting. Roadkill, my FOV is 90 (Standart is 75) but the gun really isn't that visible while sprinting still. I hate to say "real life", but it's not practical running with a rifle on your face in real life too, and ArmA represents that more than Battlefield. Also asking a question about movement with static pictures is not really the vest way, probably why Harzach gave that answer.
