SpaceAlex 0 Posted July 3, 2002 I finally got Operation Flashpoint:Resistance today, and i must say that i'm very impressed (Aren't we all? ). Graphic are outstanding, gameplay is better than before, everything is just great. You can still turn FSSA and anistropy on if you have a good graphic card, and graphic will be better than ever. It's almoust like real world. New vehicles and motorcycle are great. Sounds of the new vehicles could be changed though. Bus shouldn't have PVS3 Civil truck sound, police jeep should't have the same sound as american jeep and Ka-50 should't have the same sound as Hind. But its still a great addon. I also like the new weapons. It's nice to have a pistol on your back if you run out of rifle ammo. You can now drop your weapons or place them in a vehicle or in the ammo crates. There are also new animations. Lots of them. Campaign is so well made that i'm out of words. Cutscenes are outstanding. Voice acting is great too. There are also a few single player missions, which are great too. I tested Mp today and i was playing for 2 hours without crashing, almoust without lags. There are still bugs in the game, but just a few old not so important issues. I suggest that you buy this product. You'll be sorry if you won't. I kid you not. Major Fubar 0 Posted July 3, 2002 I second that...some screenies of new firearms and chopper would be kewl. Also, speaking of weapons, how does the new drop weapon feature work? Are we happy with it? I know that eventually, wether it takes me a month or not, i will eventually get a copy. So i'm just having fun getting my ass kicked, throwing tantrums, and beeing an asshole sometimes on Stoners.
