Ghost 40 Posted July 14, 2014 It seems like every patch I have to fix something that was broken in my missions. All these new "features" that no one gives a crap about. I have been a dedicated ArmA fan since the beginning and now I have very little to say that is good. I am losing all hope that one day ArmA 3 will be the game we were promised and hoped for. I am losing that hope because of all the major breaks and ctds I and many others get after an update. Please fix what is broken and leave what works alone! Stop with these stupid campaign/bootcamp crap. An editor and proper multiplayer is all anyone needs. Focus your efforts on what is broken and try to eliminate these silly game restrictions from OFP(ArmA X) that are still in the game. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
CaptainAzimuth 714 Posted July 14, 2014 Woah woah, calm down. Ok, i get the points with the OFP, we all do. But the Bootcamp is good. It even provides a mini campaign entailing what happened before you play as Kerry. Ok, not just that, but notice that when Arma 3 was "Officialy" released, it didn't have all the things that we'd imagine it would. However, will all the updates, it's giving us the content and features that should have been in, that are not, because of a business setback before Alpha was even announced. So loosing hope, not yet. It's just getting good. Well, sure their updates are really a pain. I think that's why they held off on a release last week on Friday, but even though they had an extra few days, still were not able to iron out a few things. The Sound however, that is broken, because they fixed it in a different way, to improve the way sound works. Don't be so pessimistic. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Somebody thinks very highly of their own opinion! :) As an original OFP player you should know better, friend. EricJ 759 Posted July 14, 2014 As a former beta tester for LOMAC and some other games... the sad reality is that sometimes you fix one thing, and everything else gets jammed up, or fucked up since swear words are allowed here. So while as a modder its aggravating you just have to have patience and take it as it comes. Its safe to say that they DO fix the issues, then break them, and so on and so forth.
