Joe98 92 Posted June 28, 2014 Some soft skin vehicles have a MG mounted. For example a Humvee, a SUV or a "technical". I am in command of a team of 6 infantry and we have such a vehicle in support. Beagle 684 Posted June 28, 2014 I usuallly use the standoff distance of the M2 compard to small arms. You can place the HMMWV well 1000meters away of the target and slowly moce to a spotting point in front of the HMMWV to spot targets for the gunner with binocs, If you also have a Medium MG Gunner and a marksmann in line formation to you all you need to do if you approach the target is to clean out the remains. Thats way can can easily wipe out an numerical superical squad. What the HMMWV is not good for is crazy driving around in circles midst in the fire zone. the M240 HMMWV can still use the MG but lacks a bit of range.
