kingjod 1 Posted June 22, 2014 I've had arma 3 for a few months and am ready to try some complete mods for it. I've tried breaking point, waste land, and altis life... Any one have any suggestions for me based on the ones above..I'm not looking for straight up military mods. Any ideas would be appreciated.
SavageCDN 231 Posted June 23, 2014 Those are actually mission types not mods.... mods are content that changes the actual gameplay or adds new items like the AK47 or a new map. I'm not aware of many other mission types like the ones you described... perhaps check the A3 server list and see what's popular: http://arma3.swec.se/server/list
ronin516 10 Posted July 14, 2014 I have gotten all my mods installed and when I go to the expansions list some of my mods have the @ before their name and some don't. Is there a reason for this? Are they loaded in the wrong order or something? For arma 3 Thank you.
EDcase 87 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) Kingjod: As SavageCDN stated, what you mention are missions not mods. If you want to find others your best option is just to look at the server list and jump into one you haven't seen before. I think those are the only ones that aren't military orientated. ronin516: All 3rd party mods have @foldername format. Bohemia official mods/addons do not. haleks 8212 Posted July 14, 2014 Breaking point is a mod. It even uses JSRS sounds (eventhough I don't know if they have Lord Jarhead's permission, knowing the devs reputation...).

Really you can name the folders whatever you want or even dump all your mods into one big folder and launch that... although that is not recommended ;)
