toxicsludge 12 Posted May 30, 2014 Do I have to enable the A3MP & CBA mods in the servers command line to play A3MP maps or CBA required content? Or just enable them on each client? I've tried both...if I enable A3MP I can't find the server listed in the browser, if I don't enable it I spawn swimming on land in the map :/ (Both mods are on the server.) jumbobreakfast 13 Posted May 30, 2014 Some mods have to be added to the launch parameters on the dedicated server and the mod's key has to be added to the keys folder on the server. The key is usually provided in the mod folder. Other mods such as JSRS only need the mod's key to be added to the keys folder. You don't need keys at all if you run with verifysignatures disabled in your server.cfg file (not recommended due to cheaters running scripts). If you use keys and verify signature, the mod on the client side needs the corresponding bisign file which 99% of the time is included. A3MP and CBA run code on the server so need to be launched with the server. JSRS mostly runs client side so doesnt have to be launched server side (Some have said that there is some server side component but I havent noticed any difference) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
toxicsludge 12 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks guys, I'll try it now. I had all the keys in place but was having trouble with mod activation. Another question about verifying sigs, if I enable that, does that mean other players must have the same version of mod that is on the server? Edit: When trying to enable @A3MP, the server is no longer able to be found in the server list - as soon as I remove the call, there it is again...
