I can't beat combines arms showcase mission!

I count myself as a experienced ARMA 2 player but i still can't beat the Combines ARMS at regular level. It's impossible! I've tried over 100 times!!! The regular difficulty is tens times more hard than any veteran scenario in ARMA 2. Those soldiers pin point me with a accuracy near 100% even through vegetation and trees. The team leader always and i mean always run ahead doing kamikaze and get himself killed. What's with the AI? It's unrealistic!

I uninstalled ARMA 3 and went back to ARMA 2 instead.

keep trying, this is where the fun part is... maybe there's something particular your doing to get yourself a bullet to the head?

try more approaches and more real life tactics.

a lot of people including me have completed it many times, so it sounds like you just need some more training first ;)

Combined Arms... the one where you go in with a helicopter and attack a small base with a bunch of guys and a vehicle? Stay down.

Advance together with the AI and wait for the action to claim down and go in to clean up the 2-5 AI that are still alive... I've had the AI clear the mission for me once but most often most of your teamies die quick.

ARMA 2 was simple as a cake. Even ARMA 2 with the Ace mod was quite simple.

Thanks for the input! I am not kidding it took me several dozen of times of reloading to finally finish the mission. With a help of a machinegun to gun down the reinforcements. Despite the win it was a slaughter on my side. Only three squad mates made it alive. I wouldn't call that a good mission at all. The friendly APC survived this time around but it got stuck on the sandbag wall. Nine and a half out of ten it would get destroyed instantly as soon it went upon the hill by an enemy AT soldier. The heli also got shot down easily.

Yeah, not a very good mission really. Especially for a "showcase".
