Can't see certain servers while using ArmA 3 server browser with Steam servers.

Recommended Posts

As we all know Gamespy is closing it's doors on May 31's, but with this closing Bohemia has managed to wiggle its way out of the server browser being powered through gamespy problem by using Steam servers. The problem here is some servers are not visible when looking with the Steam servers while they are visible when looking with Gamespy servers. Does anyone now when this will be fixed and explain what the problem is that causes this issue, thanks.

Kyle

You got it the other way round buddy. The gamespy ones are broken, the steam one works fine. The button means which one it will switch to if you press it. Im willing to bet they will remove this option to switch and keep it only on steam service for obvious reasons :P

you are completely 100% incorrect. The thing displayed on the button is the thing that is currently selected (switch to LAN mode and you'll see what I mean)

to answer the OP - different ports are required for the steam server browser. It is likely that the server(s) in question have not forwarded these important ports
