How in the world can I get my Profile Pic to look good?

As you can see I have my profile pic here. I did as instructed on the upload page and made it 400x400 px (it said 100x100 but it still accepted it). But it looks terrible....

Any ideas? I see alot of people with really nice looking Profile Pics all the time.

I tried, but it would not look good at all. Its to highly detailed for being that small. If you want to help here is a 4k png version of it...If you want a PSD I can send it to you. :D
