Okay so I had Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA a couple days ago to play DayZ/Wasteland and such. I completely wiped my computer because it was getting really laggy on the internet. After i wiped it, i redownloaded Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA but now im getting 1 fps on both arma 2 arma 2 OA and dayz. i dont know the problem and im dying to play the game. Whoever could help i would greatly appreciate it. (no video settings changed) (had around 30 fps before) Thank you:)

-CPU?

-GPU?

-Internet connection?

-STEAM or Retail?

-mods?

-Do you have this problem also in singleplayer?

-Did you try to play on several servers or only one? does that problem

occur on all the servers you tried?

-did you try to reinstall the game?

Nothing has changes with my CPU and internet connection. I got both arma 2 and arma 2 OA on steam. I have no mods installed into the game. I have it on everywhere i go in arma. (main menu) I tried to play on atleast 5 server. I have reinstalled the game 4 times.

Thanks

Thats wierd. I suppose, you are playing with latest beta. If not, try it. If the problem occured after some of the Beta releases, try to roll back to the last Beta release that was ok for you.

Also try Nvidia experince to opimise your game settings if you have Nvidia Card.

You can allso try SweetFX, it helped me a bit when my FPS wasnt good.

Also scan your PC for viruses and malware.

Also when you reinstalled windows last time? I dont know if people still do it, but i still reinstal my windows every half a year.

Or you can just use some software for disccleaning, and registry cleaning, but i still trust reainstalling it more.

Allso You should really provide some more info. More people could be able and willing to help you. Stating that your rig didnt change isnt giving any info on what it is. :-)
