zachgibson22 3 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) First off sorry for spamming this O2 thread with questions :) Alright now normally I'm pretty good at making handanimations and solving these problems. The problem im having is stretching of the hands. now they aren't going to the left all messed up like they usually do when you name it wrong or didn't binarize it. There are going up and a bit to the left and the hands are placed like they should be on the gun, just in the wrong location?! http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198082634134/screenshot/612795008320447791 <-- image of issue I can't figure out what the heck im doing! it's named right, has OFP2 skeleton modelcfg, ahh i just dont know NVM. I figxed it after re installing the whole file to edit animation again and starting from sratch Edited March 31, 2014 by zachgibson22

I figxed it after re installing the whole file to edit animation again and starting from sratch It looks like the 'Weapon' bone is in the wrong position, it might be aligned right in one view-port but not in the others, i have done the same many a time and that is what it looks like. zachgibson22 3 Posted March 31, 2014 Yeah I think that's what is was. Question though, where should the weapon bone be placed in relation to your weapon? For example should I line the grips up?
p1nga 23 Posted April 4, 2014 I'm not exactly sure, it depends on where the weapon bone is in the animation file. I have found that most of the time the rear point of the weapon bone is roughly where the front of the trigger guard is.
x3kj 1247 Posted April 5, 2014 I have found that most of the time the rear point of the weapon bone is roughly where the front of the trigger guard is. Which would be where the Coordinate System Center of the model is for many weapons
