Bis are they gona remove cd check from the game of the year version of OFP? I dont like to have my OFP cd in the computer at all. Because i have to take the cd out of my cd drive when i am gona use the the cd drive for another cd. And sometimes i lose the cd to the floor in the progress of replacing my OFP cd with another cd. Scratching my favorite game cd. I dont want to replace my Scratch cd evry time with a new one. I yust want to have this game on my hardrive forever without having the cd in the drive.

And be able to play this game without cd.

AFAIK, CM made BIS do it.

anyway, this copy protection mechanism is to prevent ppl using illegit copies. although you don't like replacing CDs, it's a method of ensuring that ppl buy CDs instead of using cracks.

so even in GOTY edition it will be there.
