Arma 2 Paratroopers Support

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I've been playing around with the lk scripts lately and found a very usefull (at least in my opinion support): the paratroopers. What makes this support so wonderfull is the fact that after the soldiers land the player can control them via the high command interface.

I would like to know how can i extract this option from the script or how can i call it without deploying the FOB or if there is something out there that does that.

Hi. Yes i know about this and i tryed to use it, but it makes it difficult for the commander to order more than one squad.

When i said Commanding interface i was reffering to high command.

In the lk scripts, it makes every paradrop unit a separate squad, therefore is easier to manage.

Or let me rephrase my question:

Does anyone know how to make a squad paradrop at my location and enter my command via the high commander interface?

hey I am a little lost. I have use his script for a very long time and currently working on a massive modification of his support script 1.5 The paratroopers in his script does not use the HC or the joinSilent player command. If you want spawned units to be under you direct control you need to use the joinSilent player;

. The units you control from the FOB 1 are link to the HC module. You just need to link the AI units to the HC and the player.

I loved his script but it had a lot of shortcomings and limitation when using in a complex mission design. I have being working on very large update script called ultimate combat support which is incorporated into a domination type mission called total domination. My favorite mission type for ARMA2 and my favorite support script into one large mission which is also player vs player as well. Hope to release it soon a little late but I need to have things perfect. If you want to check it out look for my host server on avibirdPC.
