stop a say3D sound, volume problem

I got a script for a police car which works well but I have two problems I can't iron out.

1. Sometimes my siren is quiet, then on the next loop it will be at the right volume. It's temperamental, any way I can sort that out?

2. I got my say3D, when I turn off my siren it want to play to the end of the loop. How do I stop the current sound in place?

_car say3D "policesiren1";

Number 2 - You could try two things:

1)

_car say3D "";

or

2)

When starting a sound, spawn a logic, attach it to _car and get the logic to say the sound.

Then delete it when you switch off the sound and it should kill it straightaway.

would be the best way (so i can turn on and off), however I get sound not found

To delete a sound, play it on an object you can delete.

Eg. attach an invisible helipad to the vehicle, and play the sound on that. Then if you delete the invisible helipad, the sound will be stopped too.
