xaysana 13 Posted February 16, 2014 Hey guys, it's my first time making weapons for arma and i'm left with this small problem. The bullets are fuzzy under the translucent magazine. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have the bullets textured but it doesnt show. Its probably something to do with my alpha layer. Also, my weapon texture looks kind of flat in game. Will a rvmat help add depth to it? If so, how do I do it? ( I am completely new to modelling and modding in Arma so it's pretty hard to understand whats going on )
redstone 14 Posted February 16, 2014 You have to sort it in oxygen. * Just select all alpha faces and press CTRL + SHIFT + HOME or hit faces->Move top. * Then select all solid faces and press CTRL + SHIFT + END or hit faces->Move bottom. * When they are alpha faces in magazine, just sort them by using CTRL + SHIFT + PAGEUP or PAGEDOWN. xaysana 13 Posted February 17, 2014 Mind if i ask who did the SAR 21 model or where you got it ?Thanks Hi, the SAR 21 RIS and magazine model was made by me. The grip was taken off the arma 2 sample models and the body was modelled by my fellow classmate.
blazenchamber 261 Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) Nice work man. I was really interested because this is a very rare weapon for most people and we have also done one for SMA http://i.cubeupload.com/jQy1Cl.png (4208 kB) I was also going to get a model done of the new BMCR if we get it done i will let you know and you could use it for your mod. Or if you do a model of the BMCR please let me know would be keen to add to SMA. http://dev-hell.day0.com.au/projects/sma/issues?set_filter=1&tracker_id=2 Thanks Blaze Edited February 28, 2014 by blazenchamber
