Ways of dealing with Desyc (AKA, the Yellow/Red Chain)

Just now. Literally, driving down the road in on a server, my friend in front in a Zamak truck, and me in back with an Offroad. We both had valuable supplies in our vehicles. I was following 2 car lengths behind him, when, out of nowhere, my truck was suddenly rammed into his truck at what felt like over 300 mph, causing us BOTH to instantly explode. This there a better way Desync can be handled? What do you guys think, and have you guys had any similar events occur?

I think we've all had something like this happen to us.

Is there a better way to handle it? No idea. Optimize the MP side of the engine more??
