Adept: Side Missions don't work

Hello there guys,

i have a Problem with the side missions in the Adept-Episode. There are no briefings for it and if i go scouting and come near a place where a Side Mission takes place my game freezes. Also i get a black Screen when loading the Scouting-Mission and my sounds are missing. I get a strange error message, something like skirmish.config missing when i Change from the base to Scouting.

Anyone has the same Problem or a solution?

i have also a problem, when i leave the base a message pop up and 3 sec later, i think at loading screen from the scout mission, i return to the campaign menue, have tried many things but nothing helps.

are you loading the mission from the ingame menu? because it happens in those case. (like are you replaying a mission from the main menu)

In that case, it looks like the game consider that when you leave the base, you "completed" the mission. So you go back to the main menu.

I am having the same problem with the side missions in the Adept-Episode. I have verified integrity of game cache on steam and it says its fine. I am selecting the side missions from the map screen, which is the only way I can select them, as far as I know, because the strategic map only allows selection of the primary mission (ambush). Any ideas?
