Ronin-XIV 10 Posted January 22, 2014 Hey Guys, Im a new player to the arma series (Few Days) and would just like to ask a thing or two if you guys don't mind. I apologize if this is a really simple thing to most. So when i enter co-op multiplayer games and we are in the base before heading out, i have noticed other players changing kit,guns, backpacks, headgear etc from the green boxes in base but when i open the box nothing is in there. As i said im new to the game and really dont understand how this works? Do i need the a mod like the Virtual ammo box to be installed before i can change my gear in other peoples servers?, i know that when i go into the editor i need to write/copy scrips to change gear in my game, just want to know how this works in Co-op/ multiplayer. I understand that when you pick a role before you enter the game that you might have to stick to that type of gun but as i said i have seen others changing all sorts of gear and all i have is whats on me. runekn 3 Posted January 22, 2014 Virtual ammobox does not replace the vanilla inventory system, it adds a new action. So just scroll the mousewheel when looking at the crate and choose 'Virtual Ammobox' (or something like that). No need to download it yourself. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sgt.Spoetnik 10 Posted January 22, 2014 yep depence on the mission, you can have missions with or without the virtual ammobox, and the pll you see dont own the server,ussualy its the admin , but can also be a friend off the owner or its a group that owns it. when you go up to it you scroll(mouseroll) and select virtual ammobox(its in a color so you cant miss it)then you can set up your gear and even save it and make it load on respawn so you dont have to go back to it. btw welcome and good luck with your first steps into arma;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
