[COOP 5] First Light

SEAL Team 9 is the first team on the ground to destroy CSAT defences and secure a beachhead for reinforcements.

Notes:

-Created with team of 5 in mind, however supports 1-10 units.

-No dependancies required! Download and enjoy, hassle free.

-Functional on hosted or dedicated servers, allows for SP, MP and MP/SP + AI (including revive still).

-Includes Grimes' Simple Revive Script, full briefing with images, radio messages, task series, realistic AI skill and placement, and complete "End Mission" finish.

-Add dynamicism, remove confusion - this mission briefs you with all the intel you need to complete your mission how YOU want to.

-Random enemy spawns/patrols and objectives allows for replayability.

Further mission critical notes are included in the mission briefing, along with contact information. In addition, feed back is welcome welcome in this thread!

Also, it's a bit unclear, does the mission support 10 players in coop?

You're correct, there is no respawn, though technically there is also no "death". With norrin's revive script, this mission is about keeping your buddies up. And I'm sorry for any confusion, but yes, this mission supports up to 10 units, be them human, AI, or some of each. The catch here is that I designed the mission with a team of 5 in mind, thus rolling in with 10 humans may result in the mission being a little easy. I do this however because I know there are many units, like mine, that get more fun out of playing tactically then being challenged by hordes of enemies.

For some reason the mission is stuck on its (very nice) splash screen. Tested on a dedicated server using the dev branch.

Variable, I'm sorry you're having difficulty. I just attempted to reproduce this by downloading from the Armaholic mirror in the OP and putting the .pbo in my DS, and although the loading screen IS a few (2-4 seconds) longer than the previous version, it did not stay stuck.

My suggestions:

1. Re-download using the link in the OP. This link has changed today, so perhaps there was a file oops somewhere. As of now, though, it is working for me.

2. Try on the latest stable version.

Let me know if you come up with anything and if there is anything else I can do. Of course, I want everyone to be able to enjoy the mission. Thanks again for letting me know!

I have updated this mission to include v0.6 of Grimes' Simple Revive Script, an original Revive System created by me with the help of the community. Enjoy!

I have updated Grimes' Simple Revive Script from v0.6 to v0.7, and thus made the adjustment for this mission as it is my primary sample mission. Enjoy the changes! See the OP for information on where to find specific changes within the revive script.
