Bohemia Interactive Content Licenses

Hello, mod makers, Bohemia Interactive has just released new (Arma) content licenses. We would like to encourage you to use them to license your work, and of course, we are releasing our sample models and game data from the past Arma installments under these licenses.

The content licenses are established by Bohemia Interactive a.s. in order to support the creative community evolving around its titles, and to set the clear rules for the use of both Bohemia Interactive's and the user-made content. The licenses cover the publicly available Arma data and their use by the community for their own works, as it is our best interest to allow the community to build upon our data. Also, every mod maker is encouraged to use these licenses for their own creations or derivatives of the game data provided by Bohemia Interactive a.s.

Arma Public License (APL)

With this licence you are free to adapt (i.e. modify, rework or update) and share (i.e. copy, distribute or transmit) the material under the following conditions:

• Attribution — You must attribute the material in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the material).
  
• Noncommercial — You may not use this material for any commercial purposes.
  
• Arma Only - You may not convert or adapt this material to be used in other games than Arma.

Arma Public License Share Alike (APL-SA)

• Arma 2 Only - You may not convert or adapt this material to be used in other games than Arma 2
  
• Share Alike — If you adapt, or build upon this material, you may distribute the resulting material only under the same license
