The units simply stop moving or anything. I have tryed everything.... Changing formations work though, but they dont wanna move to a waypoint. I also noticed that the markers didnt move with me (the hq-marker). Anyway, yesterday it worked, but now it doesnt, any ideas?<span id='postcolor'> Sounds strange. Did you save the mission inbetween or start from the beginning? Are you sure that you didn't delete any files? </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Also, its a pain to place markers if the fps is low.... well for me atleast, it can take several minutes to place a marker But I know u cant do anything to this, but maybe BIS should change it so the map detects doubleclicking even though the fps is low?<span id='postcolor'> What kind of system do you run it on? There have been some other people who have been experiencing performance problems. I can't neither confirm nor deny that there is some form of problem since on the machines we have tested it on (range 600 MHz - 2,5 GHz) we have had no such problems. Adding markers etc was in real-time, without any lag.
walker 0 Posted September 4, 2002 Hi Espectro Hit slow time then you can place markers [0 0 6] in the main menu. Also zoom in, the more zoomed out you are the harder it is to place markers. I am guessing but the larger area that OFP has to scan on the map the less processor time it has to check for the mouse down event. If you slow time you free up more processor time to pick up the double click. So that is why it works. This would explain not being able to place markers one day and yet being able to place them the next. You were probably zoomed in futher or had slow time on. Hope this has helped. And they didnt wanna follow my waypoints<span id='postcolor'> The bug has been found. When I designed the mission I forgot to remove a parameter that starts an automatic recount of the markers when you start the mission (instead of having pre-defined markers). Unfortunately OFP doesn't start that function when you resume a game from a save - so the CE2 gets the wrong number of available markers. Will fix this right away and upload new version at the forums. Edit: Ok, new version made, tested and uploaded. You can download it from the CoC Forums.
