cenkcnk 0 Posted November 1, 2013 Hi guys, in the old versions of arma/ofp we could use unlimited save game feature by pressing " and - keys then writing "savegame" but i can not do it in arma3, is it disabled or depends on mission? i couldn't get it worked in campaign either
Deadfast 43 Posted November 1, 2013 It was Left Shift + Numpad -. Not sure if it works in A3 though. A better alternative would be to simply enable unlimited saves in difficulty options and then use the save function in the pause menu.
progamer 14 Posted November 2, 2013 Can't some missions and campaigns disabled unlimited saves? As a way to prevent cheating?
barbolani 198 Posted November 14, 2013 It Works, at least in the missions I create. Maybe it is a feature that can be disabled via editor.
MissionCreep 12 Posted November 17, 2013 Can't some missions and campaigns disabled unlimited saves? As a way to prevent cheating? You can override this in Control->Difficulty options ... I'm not sure if it is true for all missions/campaigns but it has been for the ones I have tried it on.
NeMeSiS 11 Posted November 17, 2013 A better alternative would be to simply enable unlimited saves in difficulty options and then use the save function in the pause menu. This. I think the savegame cheat is broken since ArmA1.
Gunter Severloh 4071 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Port the campaign to the editor and preview/play it there and you maybe can use the unlimited saving the editor allows you to use, thats if you have it enabled in the difficulty setting. Unless the campaign as said is coded not to save, or only at specific save points, idk worth a try? Edited November 18, 2013 by Günter Severloh
