Arma 2:CO Crash

When i start Arma 2:CO it crashes on the main menu to the desktop.I have the correct graphics to play the gamw.It was working for 2 weeks.I reinstalled the game,ran as adminstrator.Also i used six updater to install ACE 2.Ace is installed correctly.Please help me

hmm..not much there to work with... are you sure that is all? You can try deleting your RPT file and launch arma again.

This crash happens while arma itself is starting up not when you start a mission correct?

Does it crash when you start just vanilla Arma no mods or ACE running?

I have Ace 2 installed and CBA.They work on Arma 2.When i start Arma 2:CO it goes to main screen where it shows single player,multiplayer,and then it crashes to desktoo saying Arma 2 is not working.I tried reinstalling the game but i will post my rpt in a minute

Does it crash WITHOUT mods ?

Arma 2 CO does but regular doesnt also I have Reinforcements installed with CO

Well i'm not a specialist but it's complaining about ace, so are you sure you tried without ? If so, you have an installation problem (did you see my previous post ?).

This is an odd path for your Arma installation. I would re-install both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA making sure they go into their default folders

ie: c:\program files\bohemia whatever\arma 2

As the Professor mentioned it sounds like a bad install

nope.. there really isn't much there to work with.. most of the entries are just listing the addons you have loaded.

If you like remove all your addons, clear your RPT file, try and run Arma 2 CO again and post your RPT. But more and more it looks like a bad install or something similar. That path I mentioned to the .exe is strange why is your game installed in your \Downloads folder?

This computer is shared so I moved it.But I fixed it.Ace was triggering it to crash.
