cross888 10 Posted October 10, 2013 Hello, I was playing around with a mission today in the editor hoping to make a mission where you can do a beech reconnaissance and then ditch your wetsuits to advance inland. To do this I wanted to put a spare set of uniform or civilian attire in the backpacks of the divers, But it turns out that they just won't go in to the backpacks? I mean there is room in the backpacks and the mass indicator pop's up to show you that they would fit in but no joy. Also this highlights a problem that the uniforms also take up to much mass. Is this a bug or user error? Any ideas? Thank you.
antoineflemming 14 Posted October 11, 2013 Yeah, I think it's the mass. Not a bug I don't think. It'd be nice if you could put clothes in backpacks.
tholozor 18 Posted October 11, 2013 I think it's the allowedSlots in the uniform config, like how you can only carry a Medikit or Toolkit in a backpack. The uniforms have a mass around 40.
PN11A 2 Posted October 11, 2013 You have to make sure that there is nothing in the pockets of the uniform before putting them in back packs. My SEAL team does this all the time. Pm me if you need in game help.
tholozor 18 Posted October 11, 2013 What PN11A said as well, I forgot about that. The uniform must be empty first, so that you can't have a 'container-inside-of-a-container-hypercube' deal going on. At least on a person's own inventory, crates work fine.
