ARMA 3 server not taking manually set long lat values into account!

Recommended Posts

Basically the server is saying that it is 14700km away from Australia and I would like it to think that it is indeed inside Australia, so that it shows up for local players.

I have put these values in my arma3.cfg but they are ignored,

steamLanguage="";

language="English";

serverGeoLocAuto=0;

serverLongitude=138;

serverLatitude=-34;

Why am I having this problem and how can I fix it?

hmm at a guess it's not reading the negative latitude value so thinks you are in the Northern Hemisphere- Does it require a negative sign or a 'S' (south)

Thanks for your input, I am fairly certain that it takes minus values because my own client auto values include a minus. I have also tried setting a basic.cfg and including the OP values in that but still nothing. I'm hoping someone from BI could lend me a hand and either tell me how to fix it or if it is bugged. Because at the moment you have to use the remote function in the server browser to be able to even see the servers.

I have also tried removing any config and letting it auto work it, but that hasn't yielded any results either.

Nope it's actually still happening

Have you tried putting

serverGeoLocAuto=0;

serverLongitude=138;

serverLatitude=-34;

into your server.cfg file?
