Freedom in Altis: Checkpoint Assault

This mission is the first in a series of several, that will form a small campaign. The scenario revolves around a growing popular revolt against a CSAT-backed dictatorship that has formed in the capital of Pyrgos. This first mission involves an attack on a new Government checkpoint. The Singleplayer mission is a good chance to practice controlling AI in a hazardous setting. The Multiplayer version offers a great field problem: Assault of a fixed point against a superior opponent. The opportunity to practice small unit tactics exists; land navigation and use of terrain, leader's recon and accurate communication.

I hope this little mission brings enjoyment. More are coming soon.

Variable, currently it's set to group AI slot spawn, still waiting for Norrin's script. I figured a mission this simple had to have some kind of challenge!

Group respawn is just great!!! Please don't change it and add a revive script. If you made up your mind we would appreciate if you keep a group respawn version with no revive.

Please make more group respawns missions (or side/none respawn)! :)

It's so hard to find such missions for Arma 3.

Do keep the group respawn version. If you do make a revive version however, at least keep a version with group respawn.

It's rare to find some group/side respawn missions on Arma 3 nowadays. It'd be nice to have some more of them.

I figured a mission this simple had to have some kind of challenge!

Revive removes the challenge since it enables you to take vital shots and be downed awaiting partners for you to help you back up. Timer up and then you respawn to base enabling a more rambo-like way of playing knowing that you don't die forever.
