USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 22, 2002 I don't know if any of you play Americas Army (I do) but the recent patch just got on my nerves. If anyone has completed the airborne drop from the plane, can they tell me how? I always drop into the circle (im supposed to) and yet it says i fail. I do everything, including the flaring procedure, looking 90 degrees, etc. How can I do this (I also posted on the AA forum but the ppl there arent reponding, and i didnt use the old thread cuz the mods would say "please dont dig up old threads") Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted August 23, 2002 I completed it, but i had to do it 6 time before i passed.Its fairly simple.All you need to get into the circle, by steering left right and back and foward.And also, flare at the last secend.Like when your about 15 feet from the ground.Its worth it, because the mission are awsome.But in the real mission, you have to take everything you learned into account.I just saw someone flair to soon, and he fell to his death. SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted August 23, 2002 Man you have to pass!The missions are sweat!But the down side is, that most of the people want to play on the side where you get to jump out the back of the C-130, instead of the defense side. And yes, you jump out the back, in the mission, not the side.It looks really cool, and you can jump out when ever, or walk in the plane.You can even flare when you jump out, and have the parachute collapse, which looks pretty funny!(then you see a messege, "Your name, has left a crater." ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

WhoCares 0 Posted August 23, 2002 I managed both trainings the first time, but I definatly don't know how I didn't even know what to do, when he said flare...
