Weapon switches when getting shot or taking damage

I've seen this come and go over the last few months, but after a game session last night, it appears it's still not working right. At random times when I'm playing if I get shot (or take damage from and explosion) I'd switch weapons from my primary to another one. In this case it was an AA launcher (I did have a pistol as well, but it always swapped to the AA). It didn't happen every time I got shot/took damage, but probably in an hour of Multiplayer it happened 8-10 times. Other folks playing were seeing the same thing.

Is anyone else seeing this in game? I think it's a major bug because it pretty much puts you out of action/in animation for a couple of seconds while you're trying to swap weapons to get back to your primary and I died a few times because I couldn't react to fire.

Maybe its down to the script the server is running. If its ACRE or whatever.

Last night I was playing on a server where I got hemorhaged when shot. I stopped it with a bandage. Then used mophine. I don't really know what it said ingame because it was a french server, I don't speak french. But my view was still shaking like crazy and it wouldn't go away. Also my grenades flew 100 metres into the air. When I threw a nade normally, it exploded in the air because it flew so far and never wanted to come down to the ground.

My point is: Try another server, try without addons/scripts.

Well, it's my own mission/server. There are only a handful of scripts being used:

  • SHK_randstapos Random Starting Postion by Shuko
  • Ambient Radio Chatter by Clarkey
  • BTC Revive by Giallustio
  • AI Spawn Script Pack by spunFIN
  • SLP Spawning Script by Nomadd
  • CLY Remove Dead Script by Celery

Be interested to hear if anyone else seeing the same issue has any of the same scripts running, maybe we can pinpoint what's the cause.
