jaysmizzle 3 Posted September 16, 2013 I tell my AI unit to get in the M4 Scorcher. Then I tell him to fire artillery at a certain location. I've tried all kinds of locations near and far to his vehicle. Each time he says, "Cannot execute, adjust coordinates." I've also noticed that once he's in the vehicle, there is no option to tell him to disembark which means that I cannot get him out of the vehicle. Any help? Sgt.Spoetnik 10 Posted September 16, 2013 Try shooting further out, its Min fire distance is bigger then with a Mortar, but try them out for yourself to see the range's the can fire at. Illusion_cz 10 Posted September 16, 2013 Or try moving M4 somewhere else... Sometimes the turret gets stuck in some invisible crap. Also happend to me couple times while playing MP mission. And yes as Sgt.Spoetnik said, min fire distance is bigger then with a Mortar but on the other hand M4 can fire from one side of the Altis to another. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lavbo0321 5 Posted September 16, 2013 They have to be on super level terrain. I have playing with them for a while. Unfortunately, the AI is not smart enough to know it has to move. So when I create a battery, I use a Hunter as the FDC (Fire Direction Center), or simply as the senior guy so all of the M4's report to it. If some of them are not firing, I move them by my mouse back or forward. If you don't want them to move at all and you are having just a moveingunner command. You will have issues. Again the AI is not very strong in this build. Hopefully the dev's will be working on the poor AI. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Brett Butler 0 Posted March 16, 2017 I'm have arma 3 and the apex dlc and a few other dlc content. I'm trying to just get in the artillery tanks and It wont let me at all. I'm getting very frustrated and want to be able to use everything. is there a mod I need or is it something such as a different class. I have been in maps with thprimary artillery and secondary and either wont let me get in the m4 or anything else to drive or shoot them. any advice would be greatly appreciated!
