celery 8 Posted September 18, 2013 All the MX variants, to my knowledge, behave virtually EXACTLY the same except for a miniscule difference in long-range accuracy. The damage they do is exactly the same, the recoil is the same (save for MX SW's prone recoil), the rate of fire is the same, even their "dexterity", or the ease at which you flail them across the screen, is the same for all of them. Claiming they're totally different guns is fooling yourself. Here are the config entries: http://browser.six-projects.net/configclasses/CfgWeapons%3Earifle_MX_Base_F/config?version=72 http://browser.six-projects.net/configclasses/CfgWeapons%3Earifle_MXC_F/config?version=72 http://browser.six-projects.net/configclasses/CfgWeapons%3Earifle_MXM_F/config?version=72 http://browser.six-projects.net/configclasses/CfgWeapons%3Earifle_MX_SW_F/config?version=
Harzach 2518 Posted September 18, 2013 ...my argument pertained ... to why different variations should not be counted as different guns. Yes, and I am taking the opposite viewpoint - I thought all of this was clear? As for the identical configs, etc - at the end of the day, I know that I'll end up playing a highly modded version of the game anyway, so I guess I'm just not bothered by any of this right now.
