Rossi 0 Posted August 16, 2002 I've noticed a slight problem with making MP maps. If you export your mission to the Multiplayer Missions section of OpFlash and you have previously done this before, you may find that it is not updating. I have found that the .pbo file in the MPMissions dir is locked and cannot be over written by the new compile of your map, so when you try and update it and test it, nothing seems to have changed. I found this when I made some alterations to my script and notice that the differences were not being implemented when I ran the test in MP mode. To solve this, quit OFP and delete the .pbo file manually and restart. It took me over an hour to work this out. You might know this already, but I hope it helps. Exporting to SP has same problem. OFP engine does not unlock .pbo files properly after playing and exiting a mission. Same goes for .ogg files in your mission editing folders. Create a new map, put a West soldier in as Player. 2. Save. 3. Save> export to user missions. 4. Exit editor, go to Single Missions and play as the western soldier. 5. Go back in the editor and open the saved mission. 6. Add an eastern soldier in front of the Western player. 7. Save. 8. Save > export to user missions. 9. Exit editor. go to Single Missions and play again as the Western soldier. You should notice the Eastern soldier is not there to kill you.
KaRRiLLioN 0 Posted August 16, 2002 Well the simple way around this is to simply open up the mission in the editor, click preview, then cancel and then Edit. If you were playing the .pbo, then it should now be unlocked. As soon as you go to the side selection screen of the editable version of the mission then it would unlock the .pbo version and you can overwrite it.

When you export you try to write in OFP/missions pbo If I understand what you said correctly.
