I can't wait!<span id='postcolor'>

Cool man. I'm thinking about joining the Queens UOTC here in Belfast. They don't have an Arty wing though. Think I'm gonna go for the Infantry Wing.

That's because this game requires real finesse and brains to play well, as opposed to CS. My best experiences in OFP have been during challenging Coop missions with people who knew what they were doing, it's amazing what 4 experienced players can accomplish in this game if they coordinate their efforts, against great numerical odds and Super AI.

By the same token, my worst experiences in OFP have been while playing CTF or Coop with people who didn't know what they were doing, or had that "lone wolf" mentality that prevented them from baing an effective part of the team. Such things come to mind as the guy who gets in the pilot seat of the chopper, asks "how do you fly this thing??" and refuses to get out. Then again it's always fun to shoot the bastard in the head after he refuses. Or another favourite of mine was the guy who was giving cover fire while a couple of us advanced on the enemy, and he decided that lobbing grenades in front of us as we ran would be a good idea mad.gif

i think what youre talking about is serious sam.... cs isnt brainless...its not shooting everything that moves.... maybe on a public server with tons of newbies who always ask you how to buy weapons.. but if your on a normal server or even in a clan ,you have to act tacital if you wanna succeed... you have to make real teamwork... like in an ofpclan.. like in every clan

Maybe i exagerated a bit but the truth is CS dosen't come close to the level of tactics needed to play OFP well. in CS, you have a map the area of maybe 3-4 football fields. You can run across most maps in under 2 minutes. Moreover, there is always only one or two ways to get to a certain spot. Have you ever tried running across one of the islands in OFP? If you have patience, the ways to get to an objective and the ways to complete your mission are relatively endless.
